SCOTT TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The driver of a Port Authority of Allegheny County bus was taken to a hospital Friday morning after a collision with a dump truck, officials said.

The crash was reported shortly before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Bower Hill at Vanadium roads in Scott Township.
A Port Authority spokesman said the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening.
Two passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash. They were not injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
