BUTLER COUNTY, Pa. — A Seneca Valley Senior High School student got perfect scores on both the SAT and ACT, and the school district took to social media to congratulate him.
Liam Volk-Klos, a senior, scored a perfect 1600 on the SAT and a perfect composite score of 36 on the ACT.
“It is estimated that out of the two million students who take the SAT every year, only about 500 earn the highest score,” a Facebook post said. “When you consider Mr. Volk-Klos also achieved a perfect ACT score, it’s even more of a feat; it’s considered incredibly rare with less than 1% earning such a double honor.”
Volk-Klos thanked his teachers, as well as his mom and dad, saying he “couldn’t have done this without them.”
“My dad got me into reading, which I attribute much of my success,” Volk-Klos was quoted in the Facebook post.
