Pittsburgh area malls offering socially distant visits with Easter Bunny

PITTSBURGH — Easter is just around the corner, and if your kids want to visit the Easter Bunny despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this year you’re in luck.

In Allegheny County, Ross Park and South Hills Village malls are offering socially distant visits and photos with the bunny starting Mar. 18.

Reservations are strongly recommended, but walk-up visits are allowed if time permits in between reservations.

For everyone’s safety, enhanced cleaning will take place in between visits and guests are required to wear masks.

The Bunny and its helpers will also be wearing masks.

Visits will run Monday through Saturday from 12-7 p.m. and Sundays from 12-6 p.m. They Bunny will be there through Apr. 3.

In Westmoreland County, you can schedule an in-person visit with the Easter Bunny at Westmoreland Mall.

Visits will be available from Mar. 19-Apr. 3. in the Lower Level Central Court.

Visits will run Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Sundays from 12 p.m.-5 p.m.

Reservations are not required, but they are recommended. Walk-in visits are available as space permits.

The visits will be contactless, and hand sanitizing stations will also be available.

Face masks are required to visit the Easter Bunny for children age 2 and up as well as adults. Face masks may be removed for the photo.
