In a twist, Ben Affleck will also play Batman in the upcoming film, The New York Times reported.
The movie was inspired by the Flashpoint arc from DC Comics, where the character The Flash runs so fast that he teleports into different parallel realities, according to Entertainment Weekly. That is the explanation for having two Batmen.
The movie has already started filming.
“The Flash” has a release date of Nov. 4, 2022.
