BLACKLICK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police are asking for help in identifying a pickup truck in connection with a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Cambria County from July.
Investigators say the Jacob Hale was found laying on Cardiff Road in Blacklick Township just before midnight on July 4, when a vehicle driving south hit Hale, killing him. Police believe the suspect’s vehicle was a new model, white SUV.
Police previously released surveillance pictures of that vehicle.
Tuesday afternoon police released a surveillance picture of a dark-colored, single-cab pickup truck.

Anyone with information about either vehicle or about the accident is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police, Ebensburg Station at 814-471-6500 or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous, and any information could be eligible for a reward.
