Police said Stevens will face several charges, including aggravated assault, rape and concealing the whereabouts of a child. However, those charges were not filed until Aug. 10, according to county police superintendent Coleman McDonough.
The superintendent told Channel 11 that Stevens allegedly contacted the girl via Facebook and convinced her to leave her home and meet him. He also allegedly "coached" her how to disguise her absence from her family and told her to delete the Facebook messages, McDonough said.
Anyone with information is asked to call county police at 412-473-3000.
