Restaurateur turns to Allentown for ‘the most Pittsburgh thing that I’ve ever done’

Kevin Sousa experienced a rush of familiar memories when he first entered the former Saint George Lyceum Social Club in Allentown.

The wood paneling, weird old signs and other cultural signposts of an old Pittsburgh spoke to him a way that brought up family memories, calling it "Pittsburgh kitsch, but none of it is fake.

Look for Sousa and partner Joe Calloway, of RE360, to take on reestablishing the club in a new but not entirely different form with the Arlington Beverage Club, or ABC, which will be Sousa’s first venture now that his Superior Motors is well established in Braddock.
