Reward increased on anniversary of man's disappearance

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The reward for information on a missing Lawrence County man is now up to $5,000.

It’s been four years since Christopher Story disappeared.

His case is still open, but New Castle Police said all credible leads in the case have been exhausted. They’re hoping someone will come forward with information that will help them determine what happened to Story.

Story was 40 years old when he went missing.

He’s described as:

  • White man
  • 6 feet 1 inch tall
  • Approximately 160 pounds
  • Thin build
  • Brown hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Scars on legs
  • May walk with a limp

Story is prescribed medication. Without it, he may hallucinate and appear confused, irritated or jittery, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the New Castle Police Department at 724-656-9300.
