Crews were called early Tuesday morning to battle a fire at a building that houses two businesses in Manor Township, Armstrong County.
The fire, which was reported about 3:30 a.m. on Hill Street, caused the roof of Mario's Pizza and Manor Sports Pub and Grill to collapse.
Firefighters tried to go into the building when they first arrived at the scene, but the fire was too intense. Smoke could be seen billowing into the air from Route 422.

The businesses had only been open a few months.
“You know, every day for a year, I've been coming down here with some of the other employees to help me get started, and it's all gone now,” co-owner Mario Jenkins said.
After bringing the fire under control, crews remained at the scene to put out hot spots, but the building was destroyed.
It is unclear what started the fire.
