Montour School District to offer in-house COVID-19 testing to combat backups

Allegheny County, Pa — With COVID-19 testing backed up, the options are limited for people.

Most of these people are parents seeking rapid tests for their kids after COVID-19 exposures.

Now one school district is offering a partnership to help solve that problem.

“We really wanted to be proactive with respect to any staff member or student that was deemed close contact offering a solution for them,” said Dr. Chris Stone, who is Montour’s superintendent.
