MT. PLEASANT, Pa. — Mt. Pleasant Area Junior-Senior High School students were sent home Tuesday morning after a threat was found, according to a message on the district’s website.
The “day-specific threat” was found written in the building, which was evacuated out of an abundance of caution, the message said. Students were then dismissed.

All other buildings in the district remained open.
School district officials are working with local and state police to investigate the threat.
