Two arrested while police investigate prowling in Kiski Twp.

KISKI TWP., Pa. — Two men were arrested while police investigated a prowling incident in Kiski Township on Friday.

Police were called to the area of Isabella Avenue in Kiski Township for a report of a suspicious male prowling the area around several residences around 8:10 p.m.

During their search of the area, officers encountered Ryan Riggle, 34, from Vandergrift. It was found that he had an outstanding arrest warrant out of Westmoreland stemming for a burglary case. Riggle was arrested and taken to the Armstrong County Jail to await extradition back to Westmoreland County.

After canvassing the area, officers located the original prowling suspect who was identified as Douglas Laedlein, 55, from Apollo. Laedlein was previously arrested on Aug. 7 and 8 for causing a disturbance in the Isabella Avenue area while under the influence of methamphetamine and in possession of heroin.

Laedlein was charged with loitering and prowling at night.
