SHALER, Pa. — UPDATE 10/22 6:05 p.m: The two fires that broke out at a Shaler Apartment building within hours of each other have been ruled arson.

Allegheny County Officials said they appeared to be linked.
Shaler police are now investigating.
A second fire broke out at the same apartment building in Shaler within hours of the first.
The fires happened within five hours of each other at the Cambridge House Apartments on Mount Royal Boulevard.

The fire chief said when they arrived, people were jumping from the windows on the second and third floors.
Around five-10 people were treated at the scene, according to officials. No one was taken to a hospital.

A couple people have minor injuries, according to the fire chief.
According to tenants, newspapers were set on fire early Saturday morning, then a few hours later, a couch was set ablaze in another area by the stairwell.
Tenants believe the fires were intentionally set.
The fire marshal is investigating.
