CHOCTAW, Okla. — A woman caught trying to steal packages off a porch at an Oklahoma home last week made no excuses, her victim said. She was brutally honest about swiping nearly $1,100 worth of packages
"She said, 'I was just stealing your stuff,'" April Patrick told KOCO. "I said, 'Really?' She said, 'Yep. I'm stealing your Pampered Chef,'"

The theft happened at Patrick's home in Choctaw. She was returning from a friend's wake when she saw the woman taking her two packages, the television station reported. Patrick blocked the entrance to her home and confronted the woman
"I got out and said, 'Why are you doing this?' She said, 'I don't know. I'm drunk,'" Patrick told KOCO.

Patrick was still incredulous when the woman told her she was handing the packages over without protest.
"She said, 'Well, open up your car, and I'll give you your packages," Patrick told the television station.
Patrick called the police to report the incident and provided authorities with cellphone video. Patrick said she remained baffled by the episode.
"She just looked like a grandmother, and she was just so honest," Patrick told KOCO. "I think that's what makes this story so unique."
