WikiLeaks releases hacked DNC voicemails

WikiLeaks has done it again.

Late Wednesday, the organization released 29 voicemails – apparently hacked from Democratic National Committee servers – that show donors requesting favors from DNC officials, according to CNN.

In the recordings, a former ambassador asks about a "small dinner" with President Barack Obama, ABC News reports. Another requests tickets to an event with Obama.

One voicemail to Finance Director Andrew Wright revealed a donor's frustration with Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' influence on the party, CNN reports.

"I'm furious about what you are doing for Bernie Sanders; he's getting way too much influence," the caller says. "I'm on a fixed income. I spent over $300, donated to Hillary, and what I see is the DNC bending over backwards for Bernie, and Bernie is the worst person in the world to even be running in the Democratic Party because he's not a Democrat."

Last week, WikiLeaks released nearly 20,000 DNC emails that suggested that the DNC was favoring former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over Sanders during the primary season. That revelation led to the resignation of the Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
