Channing Tatum had good news for his fans when he announced Monday that he is working on a new film in the “Magic Mike” franchise.
Tatum posted a picture of what appeared to be a script called “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” on Twitter. The title page names Steven Soderbergh as director. The writer, Reid Carolin, also wrote both previous “Magic Mike” movies, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The third movie will premiere exclusively on HBO Max, People Magazine reported. No plot or casting details have been revealed.
News about the new movie comes just weeks after an announcement the franchise was expanding into reality television, US Weekly reported. “Magic Mike” the reality show will appear on HBO Max and will offer 10 men the chance to boost their confidence by learning moves like those of the strippers in the movies.
