Rapper Iggy Azalea reveals she has a son

Iggy Azalea has welcomed a son, she told her social media followers Wednesday.

According to E! News, the Australian rapper revealed the news in an Instagram story Wednesday, several months after rumors first circulated that she was expecting a child.

"I kept waiting for the right time to say something, but it feels like the more time passes, the more I realize that I'm always going to feel anxious to share news that giant with the world," she wrote of her son, according to E! News.

Azalea, 30, added that she wants to keep her son's life private but stressed that "he is not a secret."

"I love him beyond words," Azalea continued.

She did not provide any further details about the boy, including his name or date of birth, Billboard reported. Azalea also did not mention the name of the boy's father, although she and boyfriend Playboi Carti moved in together in December, according to Fader.
