‘Teen Mom 2′ star Leah Messer engaged to Jaylan Mobley

Longtime “Teen Mom” cast member Leah Messer will soon be a married woman.

Jaylan Mobley proposed to the mother of three on Friday night during an anniversary trip to Costa Rica that included a romantic dinner and private beach stroll to set the mood, People magazine reported.

Speaking exclusively to People about her engagement, Messer said, “It feels amazing. I never imagined myself being here today, but I couldn’t imagine myself being anywhere else.”

Meanwhile, Mobley told the entertainment news magazine, “I can’t even express how I’m feeling. I wanted this moment to be the perfect moment for her.”

Mobley popped the question with a 4.7-carat custom ring designed by jeweler Mike Nekta of New York Diamond Jewelry, People reported.

According to MTV, the network that produces the “Teen Mom” franchise, Costa Rica holds a special place for the couple because they “first started dating” in the Central American paradise.

Messer was previously married to Corey Simms from October 2010 until their summer 2011 divorce. She married Jeremy Calvert the following year, but they divorced in 2015, MTV reported.

According to People, the couple plans to tell Messer’s daughters – Ali, Aleeah and Adalynn – about the engagement as soon as they return home.

“The girls have been asking if I plan to propose, [and] I think the best way to tell the girls is for us to do it together. I have a surprise for them as well,” Mobley told the magazine.
