GREENSBURG, Pa.,None — A vigil was held Friday night for a woman who was tortured and killed in Greensburg last year.
Jennifer Daugherty was kidnapped, beaten and fatally stabbed last February, according to investigators.
Police said the mentally challenged woman's body was found in the parking lot of Greensburg Salem Middle School, stuffed in a trash can under a car.
Family and friends of Daugherty gathered at the Westmoreland County Courthouse in her honor.
Six people were charged with torturing the 30-year-old for more than two days before they killed her.
All will be tried as adults.
