MCKEES ROCKS — “And then I heard him running up the stairs and then the door blew open. I went to actually grab a bat that I had. The next thing I know, he pistol whipped me and knocked me out,” said Gary Palacios, victim.
Police are investigating a home invasion, after a McKees Rocks couple claims multiple people broke into their home and stole $1,000 and their 6-week-old pit bull puppy.
“When I came to, I was in the bedroom on the floor and he had my wife on the ground by the safe with a gun in the back of her head. Then, he dragged her around by her hair, screaming at her to give him the money,” said Palacios.
“My hands are shaking and they knocked him out and they are like, open the safe,” said Shana Weiss, victim.
Channel 11 obtained the police report concerning this case.
According to officers, the victims were separated into different rooms. The suspects then took the cash from the safe as well as the couple’s dog.
“Like how can you steal someone’s puppy? The money and stuff take it - you got it, but that’s like kidnapping my child. You stole my child,” said Palacios.
Stowe Township Police are handling the investigation.
