“Nobody’s to blame. We’re in a pandemic. Unfortunately, things happen. (General manager) Jon (Robinson) and I feel comfortable that since receiving the protocols in August, we’ve followed those by the letter, and that we were conscious of everything that we did,” Titans coach Mike Vrabel said on Wednesday, according to The Tennessean.
The NFL warned all 32 teams Monday in a memo. In it, Commissioner Roger Goodell said teams will be penalized for violations of COVID-19 protocols, and those penalties could include potential forfeits of games.
The memo was sent after a conference call with the league and team executives.
