PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins are making changes to concession stands at PPG Paints Arena.
Renovations to “create a safe, contactless experience” in a post-COVID environment were announced Wednesday by the team and Aramark, its food and beverage partner.

An express, self-service beverage market, a new sports bar on the main concourse, a marketplace featuring three unique food stations and grab-and-go food and beverages are among the additions.

The Penguins and Aramark announced a series of renovations to elevate and enhance in-venue dining. Investments are being made to create a safe, contactless experience in a post-COVID environment.

Changes will also include self-checkout scanners, self-ordering kiosks and mobile ordering.
Construction is expected to be completed by the start of the NHL season.
