Below average temperatures this weekend, snow possible in some places

PITTSBURGH — Bundle up if you are heading out this evening, gusty winds will keep wind chills in the upper teens.

Lake effect snow showers will continue in spots mainly before midnight.

Clouds break for some sun early in the day on Saturday. Temperatures will still stay below average with highs only reaching the upper 30s.

The next system will arrive Saturday evening bringing the threat for more wintry weather to our area.

Snow showers will develop in the evening with a chance of a mix overnight mainly south of Pittsburgh.

There is a chance of a light accumulation with slick spots locally. Best chance for an 1″ snow will be around I-80 and in the ridges.
