PITTSBURGH — Off and on rain and chilly temperatures will make it feel more like mid-March than May Saturday, but better weather is on the way for Mother’s Day!
The steadiest rain will fall through noon Saturday, with scattered showers lasting through early evening. Another .50″ to 1.00″ of rain is possible, so stay weather aware as you head out.
Creeks and streams are running high and flash flooding could quickly change road conditions. Temperatures will be about 20 degrees cooler than normal, so have the sweatshirts handy.
Mother’s Day will be dry with a nice mix of clouds and sun, but it will chilly if you’re taking pictures early. Morning temperatures will start out in the 40s but rebound to around 60 by the afternoon. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms!
