PITTSBURGH — Have the umbrella handy and hang on to your hats Thursday as wet, windy weather blows through. A round of steady rain will develop before sunrise then taper to scattered showers through the morning commute. Some areas could still see a wet walk to the bus stop or slow drive into work, so allow some extra time.
Winds will pick up through the day with stronger wind gusts topping out over 40 mph. Some areas could see even stronger winds with gusts near 50 mph which could cause tree limbs or branches to come down and isolated power outages.
