PITTSBURGH — Don’t be shocked if you hear some thunder Monday evening. A front moving through the area could trigger a few lightning strikes with pockets of heavy rain. Rain showers will taper off to a spotty drizzle by midnight.

Tuesday will be dry until late in the day when the next system moves in with rain and snow. Snow could stick in areas along and north of Route 422 early Tuesday evening before changing to rain. Be ready for some slick travel from New Castle, Butler, Kittanning, Indiana and north.
