Fresh snow could make morning commute challenging, more snow coming Monday afternoon

PITTSBURGH — Save some time to scrape and shovel before you head out early Monday. Fresh snow will leave your windshield icy. Roads and sidewalks could be slick too, so watch that first step out the door.

Another quick snowmaker moves in Monday, just in time for the afternoon commute. Light snow will return early Monday afternoon, with a period of steady, moderate snow possible from 4pm to 10pm. The timing will be more impactful than the totals, so plan for delays during the commute.

Cold temperatures stay with us through the week, with overnight lows dropping near zero again. That means the snow won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.
