Heat wave continues into weekend; chance for stray shower, storm Saturday

PITTSBURGH — It’ll be hot this evening with temperatures in the upper to mid-80s through sunset. It won’t be as cool tonight, with lows around 60°.

The heat continues for the start of the weekend. Sunshine and a few passing clouds Saturday; highs will make it to the upper 80s. There is a chance of a spotty shower or storm Saturday afternoon. If we see anything at all it will be brief and will move through quickly. Sunday will be sunny, warm but not as hot, highs will be around 80°. Remember to stray safe in the sun and heat.

It’ll be cooler next week with highs will drop back to the 70s.
