Milder with some sun Thursday ahead of rain moving in

PITTSBURGH — Dust off your umbrella and ice scraper as there’s going to be a change in the weather with rain and snow as we head into the weekend.

Wet weather moves in around noon Friday and colder air will change to snow by Friday night. Temperatures during the day Friday will climb to near 40 degrees, but after sunset, a slushy accumulation of snow will be possible.

If you head out early Saturday, watch for slick spots and bundle up for wind chills in the 20s. Another burst of snow showers may develop late Saturday into Sunday morning with more icy spots on untreated surfaces.
