Scattered snow showers as temperatures dip Thursday

PITTSBURGH — Temperatures will dip into the 20s overnight and into early Friday as the cold sticks around for the end of the week. Wind chills will be in the teens, too.

You’ll still need the winter coats and you’ll want to grab the sunglasses too.

Temperatures will be in the 30s Thursday. We will have to watch where temperatures get below freezing. Those areas could have icy conditions on surfaces.

The bigger story will be how cold it will feel, with wind chills struggling to get out of the 20s.

After Thursday, we say goodbye to precipitation and hello to a nice warmup in the next few days. Friday will have high temperatures in the 40s, Saturday will be in the 50s and Easter Sunday will be in the 60s, with a mostly sunny sky.
