After a very soggy start to the day, most of the afternoon should be cloudy and humid with highs in the upper 70s near 80 degrees. A few isolated showers or storms could be possible this evening or overnight.

A Flood Watch is in effect for Allegheny, Beaver, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene, Fayette, Monongalia, Preston and Garrett counties until 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. Additional rounds of heavy rain are possible, which could bring flash flooding to the area. Watch creeks and streams, and if you see rising water, get to higher ground. Make sure to have a way to get weather alerts at any time day or night.

Thursday morning showers are possible before the high humidity begins to drop off through the day. Dry and comfortable conditions are expected Friday and Saturday with highs in the upper 70s around 80 degrees.
