KIEV, UKRAINE — Dozens of professional bodyguards, used to keeping a low profile while keeping their clients safe, have stepped out of the shadows to showcase their life-saving expertise at an international championship in Ukraine this past weekend.

Bodyguards demonstrated their fast reaction times, hand-to-hand combat techniques and driving skills while performing some of their most difficult daily tasks - threat detection and attack prevention. The competition spread over four days and attracted teams from six countries: Ukraine, Georgia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria and Sweden.
