PITTSBURGH — Allegheny Health Network and a partner are pursuing a redevelopment encore for the vacated Main Event big box in North Fayette along the Parkway West.

Dan Laurent, spokesman for AHN, confirmed that the health system “is partnering with a private developer to build an outpatient facility” in the former Main Event building, adding “I will have more details in a couple of weeks about what our plans are.”

Main Event, a Texas-based entertainment chain anchored by a bowling alley and restaurant, closed in the space in January of the last year, before the pandemic, ending a short run of only a little more than three years in the space, which it took over for another failed entertainment concept, Latitude 360.
