Chamber of Commerce Building hits the market for sale downtown

PITTSBURGH — The office building at 411 7th Avenue, also known as the Chamber of Commerce Building and a structure that's been a part of the downtown skyline for more than 100 years, is up for sale.

Recently, CBRE began marketing the building for sale at an unlisted price, according to email offering materials.

CBRE is touting the building’s strong downtown location, the headquarters leases for Duquesne Light that extend to 2029 and its historic charms that stem from its origins as a development project of Pittsburgh business magnate and U.S. Senator George T. Oliver, who commissioned the building which was completed in 1916.
