Amazon has yet to reach a limit to its demand for more space along the Parkway West, and North Carolina-based SunCap Property Group is moving quickly to provide the company with its next distribution facility in Findlay Township.
Real estate records indicate that Imperial Land Corp. sold an open lot at 17 William Drive in Imperial to William Drive Findlay LLC, an affiliate of SunCap, which was approved late last year to build a new distribution center in the range of 280,000 square feet on the site. The tract of land totals around 67 acres and fetched nearly $7.29 million.
An executive for SunCap wasn’t immediately available for comment. Nor was Amazon, which is already operating out of a building of more than 1 million square feet at nearby Chapman-Westport.
