The 10 inch tall water bottles have a flip-top spout on a twist-off cap with colored inner plastic straws in clear, blue, gray, green, light purple or red.
The inner plastic straw in the flip-top portion of the twist-off cap can break, posing a choking hazard.
The water bottles were sold exclusively at Target stores.
They have popular characters on the front and come in a variety of colors.
Characters include Captain America, a Batman design, Minions, My Little Pony, Spiderman, Star Wars aircraft, a Superman logo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Thor and Wonder Woman.
Mold number "14158" and "Zak Designs®" are embossed on the bottom of the bottles in the recall.
Bottles with a black inner straw and black twist-off cap are not included in the recall.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled water bottles and contact Zak Designs at 866-737-1148 for instructions on receiving a free replacement cap with straw.
