MOUNT OLIVER, Pa. — A 17-year-old is dead after a shooting in Mount Oliver Sunday night.
Andrew Lavaughn Smith of Pittsburgh was pronounced dead at UPMC Mercy Hospital after being found shot, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Just before 9:15 p.m., police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for four rounds fired at 425 Brownsville Road.
Smith was later located on the Pittsburgh side of the border of Brownsville Road with gunshot wounds to the head and neck, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
Pittsburgh police are investigating.
