500 pound pony stolen from Fayette County farm

FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa.,None — A family in Fayette County said their 500 pound pony was stolen from their farm last week.

Laurie Logue said thieves sneaked into her farm and stole her pet.

"We found the place where they came in over the fence. It was all trampled," Logue said. "He's actually rare. He's a stallion and worth $1,600 to anyone who breeds miniatures."

Investigators said the pony disappeared last Sunday, the night before Halloween.

"We are really hoping someone didn't take him for a Halloween prank and did something to him," said Logue. "I really hope someone is staking care of him."

State police continue to investigate.
