Allegheny Health Network and Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Club open new sports complex

CORAOPOLIS — A new sports complex is now open in Allegheny County.

On Wednesday, Allegheny Health Network and the Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Club came together for a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Coraopolis. The ceremony officially kicked off the opening of the AHN Montour Health + Sports Medicine Center.

The complex is 78 acres and has almost a dozen turfed soccer fields. There are fields available for indoor and outdoor soccer games.

Different therapies and training opportunities are also available at the complex, including physical and occupational therapy, sports performance training, concussion diagnosis and management programs. X-rays and MRIs are also available at the facility.

The complex can be found at 2419 State Avenue in Coraopolis. Parking is free.
