Strip District-headquartered Aurora Innovation may develop driverless semi-trucks, but a new partnership will see it support a less conventional type of driver and their team.

The company is now an official partner of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, with its logo set to make a debut on the team’s kit at a race in Portland next weekend. Beginning in 2027, the logo will begin appearing on the team’s No. 6 car’s engine cover, as well as the team’s driver firesuits. It’s the first major marketing push from Aurora, which weeks ago began rolling out its second-generation trucks, putting consistently driverless vehicles on the road in Texas.

In 2026, Nolan Siegel was the full-time driver of the No. 6 car.
