Beer lovers now have the opportunity to help their favorite craft brewery earn the title of being the best in the state through a statewide competition.
Sixty-four breweries are in the competition, including several local ones, such as Necromancer, Aslin Beer, Strange Roots, Grist House, Brew Gentleman, Cinderlands and Four Points.
People who wish to participate in the competition can go to the Malt Mania page on the Breweries in PA website and vote by region. The four regions are Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy and Simcoe.
The event was also held in 2022 with Pour Man’s Brewing taking the win. Pour Man’s Brewing is operated out of Ephrata and opened in August 2018.
The competition is sponsored by Deer Creek Malthouse. The company provides different ingredients to breweries throughout PA.
