Criminal charges pending after bomb threat at Neshannock High School

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. — Criminal charges are pending for a male who allegedly called Lawrence County 911 and said he placed a bomb in Neshannock High School.

According to a news release, the call came in at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday night.

Police, school security and school officials removed employees from the building immediately. All schools in the district were searched.

After a thorough search of all schools in the Neshannock School District, nothing was found.

The district did remote learning Thursday as a precaution after the threat.

The investigation is still being conducted.

No information on the suspect is available at this time.
