SPRINGDALE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is facing charges after an attempted murder-suicide in Springdale on Friday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the 800 block of Thompson Run Road at 5:11 p.m.
Court documents said a woman called 911 and said her husband shot her and then shot himself.
Once on scene, first responders found the woman who had been shot in the abdomen and her husband who was shot in the face.
They were both taken to area hospitals. Court documents say the woman is in critical condition.
Saturday morning, charges were filed against Scott Mishler, 65.
Mishler is charged with aggravated assault and attempted homicide.
Court documents said four firearms were recovered from the home.
