‘Incident’ at Armstrong County bank under police investigation

MANOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are investigating an incident at an Armstrong County bank.

Thursday morning, a Channel 11 photographer captured crime scene tape up around NexTier Bank, located along Burton Drive in Manor Township.

NexTier acknowledged the “incident” on social media, thanking law enforcement for their response and saying that all associates are safe.

The Burton Drive branch is currently closed. Customers are encouraged to visit the Kittanning and Ford City branches in the meantime.

We’re told Pennsylvania State Police are leading the investigation. We’ve reached out to learn more.
