McCaffery announces food hall of Asian cuisine at The Terminal in the Strip

The Terminal Building in the Strip District

PITTSBURGH — Chicago-based McCaffery has turned to two Asian restaurateurs to meet a city requirement of establishing a new food hall of local operators at The Terminal redevelopment in the Strip District.

The company announced today than it has turned to a partnership of Mike Chen, well known in Pittsburgh for such restaurants as Everyday Noodles, and Alex Tang of Mola Sushi to lead the new 8,600-square-foot food hall at The Terminal, an arrangement that came after McCaffery had been seeking to draw both operators in for their own restaurants in the property.

According to an announcement, the new food hall, which doesn’t have a name yet, will feature several Asian cuisines, along with sushi, as well as Thai, Chinese and Cantonese dishes.
