PITTSBURGH — A cancer patient who got married at Disney World after receiving her wish to take her kids there died Friday.
Jhanay Harber's wish to take her sons, ages 5 and 10, to the Florida theme park, where they watched their parents get married, was fulfilled in February with the help of Jamie's Dream Team and donations from Channel 11 viewers.
Channel 11 was invited to the emotional ceremony in Florida, and was present when Harber, 28, and her then fiancé, DeAndre Morris, picked out their rings at GDC Jewelers in North Huntingdon.
Harber had been diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago. The cancer spread to her spine, lungs and brain.
