Multiple people flown to hospital from crash in Washington County; part of I-70 closed

NORTH FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Multiple people were injured in a crash in Washington County.

Washington County dispatchers said the crash happened on I-70 westbound at 7:58 p.m. on Thursday.

Dispatchers said two people were flown to a hospital from the scene of the crash. Multiple vehicles are involved.

PennDOT said I-70 westbound is closed between Exit 15 (Chestnut Street) and Exit 11 (Taylorstown).
