One person dead after crash involving tractor-trailer, firefighters say

SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. — One person is dead after a crash involving a car and a tractor-trailer.

Crews responded to the crash on Route 19 and Route 422, just near the line of Butler and Lawrence counties just after 3pm.

The tractor-trailer ended up on its side by the end of the crash.

Firefighters said that the coroner had been called to the scene at approximately 4:35 p.m.

Route 19 will be closed as emergency crews continue to work at the scene.
