The Pittsburgh Penguins (1-0-0) dominated the Philadelphia Flyers (0-1-1).

Each member of the Penguins’ third line scored. The line was thrown together in the final days of preseason as injuries to the forward crew mounted, but Ville Koivunen, Filip Hallander and Hendrix Lapierre lit the lamp.

Koivunen’s goal was especially pretty as he deked Vladar on a breakaway in the first period.
