Pittsburgh International Airport’s social media plea helps quickly return lost toy to its owner

PITTSBURGH — A lost toy bunny is going home, thanks to the help of Pittsburgh International Airport staffers.

When the stuffed bunny was found at baggage claim on Monday, airport officials took to social media — and took the toy on a tour of the airport — trying to get it reunited with its owner.

And, their efforts worked quickly. Bunny is going home to 6-year-old Waylynn on Wednesday. The girl’s great grandparents have already picked up the special stuffy for her.

Airport officials say they’re happy to reunite lost items with their owners, especially sentimental items.
